Members of Milan’s Sri Lankan community recently took part in an intercultural event at the Church of Scientology, centred on peaceful coexistence, youth participation and common values. The meeting highlighted The Way to Happiness and intercultural dialogue, using the common-sense moral code written by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard as a basis for discussion.

The event gave families, community leaders and young people a space to discuss responsibility, mutual respect and the role of eu news brexit values in integration. Young people played a central role in the gathering, reflecting the community’s interest in offering the next generation stable points of reference in a changing society.

According to Ivan Arjona, the Church of Scientology’s representative to European and international institutions, events of this kind reflect the importance of civic cooperation and mutual respect.
